Solutions

Your pipelines broke last night. Dagen already fixed them.

Schema drift, silent failures, upstream surprises — pipeline maintenance eats the calendar of every data team. Dagen's agents watch every pipeline, diagnose failures, and repair them, with an audit trail for every fix.

Why self-healing matters

Maintenance shouldn't be a career. Dagen makes it a non-event.

You set how much trust to extend. Dagen handles the rest, and shows you exactly what it did.

You hired engineers. You got firefighters.

The morning ritual

The red dashboard, the broken DAG, the hunt through logs for what changed upstream — unglamorous, constant, and it crowds out the work you were actually hired for.

Last year's pipelines, this year's tax

Every hour spent on maintenance is an hour not spent building. The backlog compounds.

Trust is a dial, not a leap.

Start with propose-and-approve

Nobody hands production to an agent on day one. Every fix waits for your review until you say otherwise.

Expand as the fix history earns it

Move toward full autonomy only as trust builds — on your timeline, not ours.

Explore the agentic runtime

Every fix, on the record.

Full lineage, not a summary

Every incident and every fix is recorded with what changed, why, and how it was repaired.

Explainability by default

It isn't a report you generate after the fact — it's how the system works.

How healing works

Detected. Diagnosed. Repaired. Recorded.

01 · Detect

Watch every pipeline

Agents in the agentic runtime watch every pipeline continuously: schema changes, volume anomalies, failed runs, drifting data quality.

02 · Diagnose

Trace the root cause

When something breaks, agents trace the root cause — not the symptom in your dashboard, but the renamed column three systems upstream.

03 · Repair

Patch and validate

Agents patch the transformation, backfill the gap, and rerun validation. You set the autonomy level: fully automatic, or propose-and-approve.

04 · Record

Keep the audit trail

Every incident and every fix is recorded with full lineage. Explainability isn't a report you generate — it's how the system works.

Frequently asked

Self-healing pipelines, answered.

What is schema drift and why does it break pipelines?+

Schema drift is when a source system changes structure — a renamed column, a new field, a changed type. Downstream transformations break, or worse, silently produce wrong data. Dagen catches drift at the source and repairs the affected pipelines.

Can Dagen heal pipelines it did not build?+

Yes. Dagen's agents read existing pipelines during onboarding, map their dependencies, and bring them under management. Reuse over rip and replace applies here too.

What does self-healing actually mean in practice?+

Detection, root-cause diagnosis, a generated fix, validation, and a recorded audit trail. At lower autonomy levels the fix waits for your approval. At higher levels it ships and you get the report.
